Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Mining, Consumer Industry and Miscellaneous Industry sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which rose 25.00% or 120 points to trade at 600 at the close. Inti Kapuas Arowana Tbk (JK:IIKP) added 20.65% or 640.00 points to end at 3740.00 and Eka Sari Lorena Transport Tbk (JK:LRNA) was up 10.81% or 16.00 points to 164.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bank Agris Tbk (JK:AGRS), which lost 15.15% or 20.00 points to trade at 112.00 in late trade. Equity Development Investment (JK:GSMF) declined 13.08% or 14 points to end at 93 and Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) shed 12.75% or 95 points to 650.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 195 to 132 and 42 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.36% or 0.79 to $58.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.05% or 0.66 to hit $63.24 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1190.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.20% to 13221.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.30% to 10076.75.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 96.95.
