Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Infrastructure, Financials and Mining sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 1.38% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which rose 32.31% or 63 points to trade at 258 at the close. Voksel Electric Tbk (JK:VOKS) added 25.00% or 90 points to end at 450 and Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA) was up 24.44% or 110.00 points to 560.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Panca Global Securities Tbk (JK:PEGE), which lost 24.44% or 66.00 points to trade at 204.00 in late trade. Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) declined 20.93% or 36.00 points to end at 136.00 and Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) shed 14.73% or 165 points to 955.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 178 to 160 and 95 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $46.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.21% or 0.10 to hit $48.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.10 to trade at $1235.20 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.51% to 13388.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.14% to 10225.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 95.77.
