Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financials, Miscellaneous Industry and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Binakarya Jaya Abadi Tbk PT (JK:BIKA), which rose 21.81% or 205 points to trade at 1145 at the close. Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI) added 20.00% or 54 points to end at 324 and Multi Prima Sejahtera Tbk (JK:LPIN) was up 12.64% or 550 points to 4900 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Toba Pulp Lestari Tbk (JK:INRU), which lost 9.76% or 40 points to trade at 370 in late trade. Panin Sekuritas Tbk (JK:PANS) declined 9.04% or 330 points to end at 3320 and Megapolitan Developments Tbk (JK:EMDE) shed 8.75% or 14 points to 146.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 165 to 120 and 107 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.22% or 0.11 to $49.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.44% or 0.22 to hit $49.73 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.50% or 6.05 to trade at $1210.65 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.29% to 13644.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.17% to 9787.90.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.03% at 95.70.
