Investing.com – Portugal equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Utilities and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 declined 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were Impresa SGPS (LISBON:IMPA), which rose 2.38% or 0.02 points to trade at 0.86 at the close. REN (LISBON:RENE) added 0.56% or 0.0150 points to end at 2.6980 and Semapa (LISBON:SEM) was up 0.47% or 0.0625 points to 13.3075 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Galp Energia Nom (LISBON:GALP), which lost 2.37% or 0.2825 points to trade at 11.6125 in late trade. Teixeira Duarte (LISBON:TDSA) declined 2.27% or 0.0150 points to end at 0.6450 and Mota Engil (LISBON:MOTA) shed 1.67% or 0.0510 points to 3.0060.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 44 to 26 and 4 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for July delivery was down 0.26% or 0.17 to $66.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.87% or 0.52 to hit $59.36 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.16% or 1.90 to trade at $1223.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.16% to 1.1427, while EUR/GBP rose 0.24% to 0.7249.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 93.41.
