Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Agriculture, Property and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite fell 1.68% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Asuransi Harta Aman Pratama (JK:AHAP), which rose 16.67% or 30 points to trade at 210 at the close. Adira Dinamika Multi Finance (JK:ADMF) added 11.11% or 500 points to end at 5000 and Bank Windu Kentjana Int (JK:MCOR) was up 10.88% or 36 points to 367 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Multifiling Mitra Indonesia (JK:MFMI), which lost 17.87% or 42 points to trade at 193 in late trade. Bank Qnb Indonesia Tbk (JK:BKSW) declined 15.87% or 100 points to end at 530 and Indonesian Paradise Property (JK:INPP) shed 15.38% or 40.00 points to 220.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 260 to 69 and 33 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.63% or 0.38 to $58.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.39% or 0.25 to hit $63.06 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.54% or 6.30 to trade at $1174.40 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.19% to 13373.0, while AUD/IDR rose 0.18% to 10230.50.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 96.34.
