Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Trade, Infrastructure and Property sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.32%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Bank Artos Indonesia Tbk PT (JK:ARTO), which rose 31.63% or 62 points to trade at 258 at the close. Steady Safe TBK PT (JK:SAFE) added 25.00% or 62 points to end at 310 and Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA) was up 24.44% or 66.00 points to 336.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA), which lost 28.40% or 23 points to trade at 58 in late trade. Pudjiadi Prestige Tbk (JK:PUDP) declined 17.89% or 68 points to end at 312 and Centex Tbk Prf (JK:CNTX_p) shed 17.05% or 110.00 points to 535.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 194 to 125 and 108 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.20% or 0.09 to $45.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.23% or 0.11 to hit $47.48 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.80 to trade at $1252.70 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.09% to 13285.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.34% to 10102.55.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 96.88.
