Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which rose 0.76% or 0.29 points to trade at 38.48 at the close. Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) added 0.69% or 0.035 points to end at 5.125 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 0.37% or 0.0200 points to 5.4050 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V), which lost 1.99% or 0.54 points to trade at 26.53 in late trade. Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) declined 1.12% or 0.47 points to end at 41.51 and Outotec Oyj (HE:OTE1V) shed 1.04% or 0.042 points to 4.000.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 84 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for October delivery was up 1.82% or 0.84 to $46.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in September rose 2.21% or 0.96 to hit $44.45 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.29% or 3.85 to trade at $1346.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.27% to 1.1168, while EUR/GBP rose 0.58% to 0.8648.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.26% at 95.65.
