Investing.com – Finland equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Telecoms, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 added 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Elisa Oyj (HE:ELISA), which rose 2.14% or 0.68 points to trade at 32.42 at the close. Valmt (HE:VALMT) added 1.97% or 0.25 points to end at 12.94 and Konecranes Oyj (HE:KCR1V) was up 1.29% or 0.37 points to 29.14 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Neste Oil Oyj (HE:NESTE), which lost 1.11% or 0.42 points to trade at 37.46 in late trade. Fortum Oyj (HE:FUM1V) declined 0.70% or 0.10 points to end at 14.19 and Nordea Bank AB (publ) FDR (HE:NDA1V) shed 0.67% or 0.060 points to 8.850.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 89 to 82 and 22 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for November delivery was down 1.53% or 0.73 to $46.90 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $44.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.56% or 20.75 to trade at $1347.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.83% to 1.1240, while EUR/GBP fell 0.16% to 0.8367.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.88% at 94.90.
