It also offers MAT2501, an orally administered formulation of amikacin to treat chronic and acute bacterial infections, as well as non-tuberculosis mycobacterium. The company has strategic collaborations with the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases for the development of oral formulations of Gilead’s remdesivir; BioNTech SE to evaluate the combination of mRNA formats with the LNC platform; and Genentech Inc. to develop oral formulations. Matinas BioPharma Holdings, Inc. was incorporated in 2013 and is based in Bedminster, New Jersey.
