Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms, Financials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.75%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 2.00% or 3.60 points to trade at 183.20 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) added 1.88% or 0.40 points to end at 21.68 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.37% or 3.6 points to 267.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 2.37% or 2.70 points to trade at 111.30 in late trade. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) declined 1.94% or 1.45 points to end at 73.20 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) shed 1.92% or 5.0 points to 256.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 283 to 279 and 58 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.09% or 0.54 to $49.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.54% or 0.27 to hit $50.63 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1217.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.02% to 9.2843, while USD/SEK rose 0.02% to 8.3359.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 95.78.
