Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Consumer Services and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 4.89% or 3.05 points to trade at 65.45 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 1.87% or 3.60 points to end at 195.80 and Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb) was up 1.49% or 2.10 points to 142.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which lost 3.15% or 1.77 points to trade at 54.48 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.24% or 0.45 points to end at 35.98 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) shed 1.23% or 3.2 points to 256.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 315 to 229 and 59 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.26% or 0.14 to $53.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.51% or 0.28 to hit $55.20 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.87% or 9.90 to trade at $1132.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.39% to 9.7244, while USD/SEK fell 0.31% to 9.3535.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 103.23.
