Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.27%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb), which rose 2.66% or 7.4 points to trade at 285.3 at the close. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 2.21% or 0.99 points to end at 45.82 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) was up 1.19% or 11.0 points to 935.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which lost 1.16% or 1.60 points to trade at 136.70 in late trade. Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) declined 0.85% or 1.05 points to end at 122.75 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) shed 0.51% or 1.10 points to 214.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 337 to 328 and 90 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.81% or 0.40 to $48.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.82% or 0.43 to hit $51.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.20 to trade at $1199.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.51% to 9.6173, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 9.0169.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.50% at 101.47.
