(Reuters) - Staffline Group Plc (L:STAF) on Monday said PricewaterhouseCoopers resigned as the recruiter's auditor and will not participate in a competitive process bid for the role.
"There was mutual agreement with the audit committee not to participate in this process (the tender process) following the completion of the company's audit for the year ended 31 December 2018," a PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) letter to Staffline said.
Staffline and PwC could not be immediately reached for further comment.
Staffline has been under pressure after taking a 15 million pound charge for potential fines for underpaying workers and has warned on labour demand.
