Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Telecoms & IT and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.68%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Abdullah A. M. Al-Khodari Sons Co (SE:1330), which rose 5.30% or 1.50 points to trade at 29.80 at the close. Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 4.38% or 11.17 points to end at 266.25 and Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210) was up 3.92% or 0.65 points to 17.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which lost 7.02% or 2.40 points to trade at 31.80 in late trade. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 5.42% or 2.64 points to end at 46.10 and City Cement Co (SE:3003) shed 2.66% or 0.64 points to 23.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.11% or 0.57 to $50.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.97% or 0.56 to hit $56.55 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 2.47% or 28.00 to trade at $1103.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.02% to 4.0636, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 98.17.
