Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Hotels & Tourism, Energy & Utilities and Building & Construction sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Sahara (SE:2260), which rose 7.09% or 0.95 points to trade at 14.35 at the close. Food Products Co. (SE:2100) added 6.33% or 1.50 points to end at 25.20 and Al-Rajhi Cooperative Insurance (SE:8230) was up 6.16% or 2.10 points to 36.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included The Company for Coop. Insurance (SE:8010), which lost 3.44% or 3.75 points to trade at 105.25 in late trade. Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) declined 3.17% or 0.100 points to end at 3.050 and United Int Transportation Company (SE:4260) shed 3.10% or 1.10 points to 34.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 138 to 23 and 8 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $52.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.41% or 1.30 to hit $55.32 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.61% or 6.85 to trade at $1136.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 3.9196, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 102.92.
