Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Multi Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which rose 6.15% or 1.60 points to trade at 27.60 at the close. Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) added 4.76% or 3.77 points to end at 83.00 and Al-Ahsa Development Co. (SE:2140) was up 4.32% or 0.71 points to 17.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Automotive Services Co. (SE:4050), which lost 9.80% or 3.38 points to trade at 31.10 in late trade. Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) declined 4.19% or 2.24 points to end at 51.25 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) shed 3.33% or 0.96 points to 27.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 103 to 60 and 1 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.53% or 0.32 to $60.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.20% or 0.12 to hit $63.22 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.67% or 7.90 to trade at $1176.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 1.63% to 4.1848, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.28% at 95.73.
