Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate Development, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170), which rose 9.81% or 3.94 points to trade at 44.10 at the close. Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) added 9.48% or 1.45 points to end at 16.75 and Saudi Transport & Investment Co (SE:4110) was up 9.25% or 4.53 points to 53.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which lost 4.07% or 0.96 points to trade at 22.60 in late trade. Salama Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8050) declined 3.45% or 1.06 points to end at 29.70 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) shed 2.72% or 0.80 points to 28.60.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 64 on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.07% or 0.04 to $56.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $64.69 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.12% or 1.40 to trade at $1201.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.41% to 4.0998, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.29% at 96.61.
