Investing.com – Peru equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Banking & Financials, Industrials and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General added 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Casa Grande (LM:CSG), which rose 4.59% or 0.250 points to trade at 5.700 at the close. Relapasa (LM:REL) added 3.09% or 0.006 points to end at 0.200 and Sider (LM:SID) was up 2.78% or 0.005 points to 0.185 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Atacocha (LM:ATB), which lost 1.55% or 0.003 points to trade at 0.190 in late trade. Trevali Mining (LM:TV) declined 1.33% or 0.010 points to end at 0.740 and Cerro Verde (LM:CVE) shed 0.63% or 0.150 points to 23.700.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 20 to 7 and 4 ended unchanged on the Lima Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.21% or 0.12 to $59.58 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.09% or 0.06 to hit $63.14 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.60 to trade at $1173.40 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.11% to 3.1715, while EUR/PEN rose 0.00% to 3.5584.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.27% at 95.63.
