Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy, Media and Auto & components sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX fell 0.63%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 3.00% or 0.90 points to trade at 30.90 at the close. Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) added 2.88% or 0.51 points to end at 18.24 and REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) was up 1.41% or 0.02 points to 1.22 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE), which lost 5.26% or 0.8 points to trade at 13.5 in late trade. Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) declined 5.09% or 1.12 points to end at 20.88 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 4.85% or 1.0 points to 19.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 94 to 82 and 19 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.82% or 1.26 to $43.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.56% or 1.20 to hit $45.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.45% or 5.85 to trade at $1317.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.32% to 9.3186, while USD/NOK fell 0.03% to 8.3223.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 95.64.
