Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Auto & components, Technology Hardware & Equipment and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.39%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG), which rose 2.92% or 1.06 points to trade at 37.36 at the close. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) added 0.92% or 0.1 points to end at 16.5 and Marine Harvest ASA (OL:MHG) was up 0.46% or 0.70 points to 153.09 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 2.60% or 0.04 points to trade at 1.35 in late trade. Frontline Ltd (OL:FRO) declined 2.24% or 1.35 points to end at 58.95 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) shed 1.39% or 4.50 points to 320.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 89 and 30 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.23% or 0.12 to $53.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.38% or 0.21 to hit $55.80 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.80 to trade at $1225.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.00% to 8.8926, while USD/NOK rose 0.22% to 8.4102.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 101.29.
