Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Energy, Software & Computer Services and Consumer Durables And Apparel sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT), which rose 7.17% or 0.38 points to trade at 5.68 at the close. Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS) added 6.38% or 0.5 points to end at 7.5 and Renewable Energy Corporation ASA (OL:REC) was up 5.09% or 0.08 points to 1.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which lost 6.34% or 2.0 points to trade at 29.7 in late trade. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 4.99% or 3.2 points to end at 60.9 and Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS) shed 4.79% or 1.27 points to 25.23.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 75 and 19 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.61% or 0.25 to $41.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.49% or 0.20 to hit $41.40 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 0.75% or 9.40 to trade at $1244.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.17% to 9.4676, while USD/NOK rose 0.52% to 8.4239.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.31% at 95.36.
