Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Banking and Energy sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Grieg Seafood (OL:GSFO), which rose 1.36% or 0.90 points to trade at 66.85 at the close. REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC) added 1.09% or 0.01 points to end at 1.11 and P/f Bakkafrost (OL:BAKKA) was up 1.03% or 3.30 points to 324.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 3.49% or 0.63 points to trade at 17.43 in late trade. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 3.07% or 3.7 points to end at 117.0 and Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) shed 2.99% or 0.12 points to 3.90.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 93 to 71 and 32 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.45% or 0.70 to $47.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.28% or 0.65 to hit $49.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.78% or 9.85 to trade at $1276.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.21% to 9.4977, while USD/NOK fell 0.34% to 8.4234.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 96.69.
