Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Energy and Diversified Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL), which rose 5.85% or 0.6 points to trade at 10.8 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 3.52% or 8.7 points to end at 256.0 and Lerøy Seafood Group ASA (OL:LSG) was up 2.08% or 8.8 points to 432.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Petroleum Geo - Services ASA (OL:PGS), which lost 5.59% or 1.31 points to trade at 22.14 in late trade. DNO International ASA (OL:DNO) declined 3.77% or 0.29 points to end at 7.41 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 3.52% or 5.20 points to 142.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 121 to 46 and 31 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 2.37% or 1.19 to $49.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 2.22% or 1.18 to hit $51.93 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 6.05 to trade at $1203.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.70% to 9.0740, while USD/NOK rose 0.31% to 8.5746.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.18% at 101.93.
