Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Durables And Apparel, Diversified Financials and Commercial Service And Supplies sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which rose 6.44% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.14 at the close. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) added 2.19% or 6.0 points to end at 280.5 and Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) was up 2.09% or 0.2 points to 12.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG), which lost 4.64% or 1.20 points to trade at 24.66 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 3.79% or 1.30 points to end at 33.00 and Aker BP ASA (OL:AKERBP) shed 3.00% or 4.00 points to 129.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 99 to 90 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.27% or 0.65 to $50.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.35% or 0.72 to hit $52.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1259.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.57% to 9.0558, while USD/NOK rose 1.19% to 8.1809.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 97.51.
