Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare Equipment & Services, Media and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX lost 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were DnB ASA (OL:DNB), which rose 2.56% or 2.7 points to trade at 108.2 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:ORK) added 2.05% or 1.45 points to end at 72.25 and Bw Lpg (OL:BWLPG) was up 2.03% or 1.15 points to 57.70 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Schibsted ASA A (OL:SBSTA), which lost 5.00% or 15.0 points to trade at 285.0 in late trade. Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) declined 4.07% or 0.70 points to end at 16.50 and Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) shed 3.41% or 1.20 points to 34.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 102 to 79 and 3 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.02% or 0.47 to $46.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.40% or 0.69 to hit $49.48 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.41% or 4.70 to trade at $1142.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.72% to 9.3358, while USD/NOK fell 1.07% to 8.4741.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.48% at 96.90.
