Investing.com – Norway equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Telecoms and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX rose 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Akastor ASA (OL:AKAS), which rose 6.49% or 0.6 points to trade at 10.5 at the close. Fred. Olsen Energy ASA (OL:FOE) added 2.77% or 0.8 points to end at 29.7 and Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:NWC) was up 2.47% or 8.8 points to 365.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Det norske oljeselskap ASA (OL:DETNOR), which lost 3.08% or 2.00 points to trade at 62.85 in late trade. Subsea 7 SA (OL:SUBC) declined 2.12% or 1.4 points to end at 66.9 and Golden Ocean Group Ltd (OL:GOGLT) shed 1.94% or 0.14 points to 7.07.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 90 to 82 and 22 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.17% or 0.49 to $41.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.35% or 0.15 to hit $42.95 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1234.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was down 0.11% to 9.3011, while USD/NOK fell 0.44% to 8.2159.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.25% at 94.44.
