Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels, Restaurants & Leisure, Food Producers & Processors and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.49%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which rose 4.58% or 1.19 points to trade at 27.19 at the close. Delattre Levivier Maroc (CS:DLM) added 4.31% or 7.75 points to end at 187.75 and Ennakl Automobiles SA (CS:NKL) was up 3.40% or 1.94 points to 58.94 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Hps (CS:HPS), which lost 5.33% or 80.00 points to trade at 1420.00 in late trade. Cosumar (CS:CSMR) declined 5.23% or 16 points to end at 290 and Realis. Mecaniques (CS:SRM) shed 4.76% or 16.00 points to 320.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 26 to 15 and 11 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.19% or 0.55 to $46.95 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.29% or 0.63 to hit $49.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1241.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was down 0.11% to 11.0520, while USD/MAD rose 0.19% to 9.5940.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 94.56.
