Investing.com – Morocco equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Forestry & Paper, Banking and Transport sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Casablanca, the Moroccan All Shares fell 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Moroccan All Shares were Ennakl (CS:NAKL), which rose 5.94% or 2.18 points to trade at 38.84 at the close. Colorado (CS:COL) added 5.55% or 4.00 points to end at 76.00 and Stroc Industrie (CS:STR) was up 4.75% or 3.90 points to 86.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cartier Saada (CS:CRS), which lost 5.00% or 0.95 points to trade at 18.05 in late trade. CTM (CS:CTM) declined 3.21% or 14.00 points to end at 435.00 and Alliances (CS:ADI) shed 2.87% or 2 points to 84.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 16 to 15 and 4 ended unchanged on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.29% or 0.79 to $60.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.59% or 1.02 to hit $63.42 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.31% or 3.70 to trade at $1172.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/MAD was up 0.20% to 10.8950, while USD/MAD rose 0.35% to 9.7444.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 95.66.
