Proactive Investors - Lloyds Banking Group PLC (LON:LLOY) announced that Lord James Lupton will step down from his position as non-executive director, after seven years on the board.
Lord Lupton is also, at the same time, leaving his position as chair of Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets Plc (LBCM).
A process is now underway to appoint the next chair of the corporate banking unit, meanwhile, LBCM senior independent director John Owen will be interim chair.
"I would like to thank James for the valuable contribution he has made to the board since June 2017 and for his leadership as the inaugural chair of Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets and for his personal support for me since I became chair,” group chair Sir Robin Budenberg said in a statement.
“I wish James the best for the future. I would also like to thank John for taking on this important additional role."
Lupton exits at Lloyd’s next AGM.
Lloyds is scheduled to report full-year financial results next week, on Thursday 22 February.
