Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL), which rose 2.50% or 40 points to trade at 1640 at the close. Cellcom Israel Ltd (TA:CEL) added 1.55% or 50 points to end at 3281 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) was up 1.41% or 1030 points to 74330 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 4.19% or 104 points to trade at 2381 in late trade. Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) declined 1.51% or 75 points to end at 4889 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TA:AZRG) shed 1.05% or 210 points to 19700.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 304 to 104 and 7 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.22% or 0.54 to $44.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.28% or 0.60 to hit $47.52 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.50 to trade at $1250.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.28% to 3.5066, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 3.9850.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 95.82.
