Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.06%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Partner (TA:PTNR), which rose 5.41% or 99 points to trade at 1930 at the close. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) added 2.71% or 4.1 points to end at 155.2 and Airport City Ltd (TA:ARPT) was up 2.69% or 136 points to 5200 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 2.31% or 55 points to trade at 2324 in late trade. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) declined 1.51% or 290.0 points to end at 18910.0 and Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) shed 1.29% or 560 points to 42800.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 287 to 121 and 94 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.20% or 0.61 to $51.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.04% or 0.56 to hit $54.17 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.48% or 6.01 to trade at $1259.61 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.5830, while EUR/ILS rose 0.41% to 4.0298.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.22% at 96.79.
