Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Sunday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.73%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which rose 2.23% or 340 points to trade at 15620 at the close. Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) added 1.71% or 58 points to end at 3443 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 1.04% or 140 points to 13570 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 3.04% or 136 points to trade at 4341 in late trade. Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) declined 2.83% or 1050 points to end at 36000 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 2.51% or 1610 points to 62460.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 193 to 141 and 119 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.50% or 0.20 to $39.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $41.03 a barrel, while the June Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1223.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.07% to 3.8361, while EUR/ILS rose 0.05% to 4.2854.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 96.17.
