Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Biomed and Insurance sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 2.44% or 18.2 points to trade at 763.5 at the close. Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) added 0.80% or 130 points to end at 16360 and Melisron (TA:MLSR) was up 0.78% or 120 points to 15480 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which lost 2.15% or 390 points to trade at 17740 in late trade. International (TA:FTIN) declined 1.85% or 89 points to end at 4715 and Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) shed 1.75% or 1330 points to 74870.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 197 to 138 and 104 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.64% or 0.82 to $49.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.75% or 0.90 to hit $50.42 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.85 to trade at $1322.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.01% to 3.8514, while EUR/ILS fell 0.13% to 4.2789.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.06% at 95.75.
