Investing.com – Israel equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 declined 0.02%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Leumi (TA:LUMI), which rose 2.09% or 30 points to trade at 1468 at the close. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) added 1.43% or 10.8 points to end at 764.0 and Poalim (TA:POLI) was up 0.67% or 13 points to 1943 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which lost 1.95% or 290 points to trade at 14620 in late trade. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.45% or 1180 points to end at 79920 and Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG) shed 1.35% or 230 points to 16800.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 192 to 165 and 100 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.53% or 0.86 to $55.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.70% or 0.45 to hit $62.88 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.37% or 4.50 to trade at $1196.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.53% to 3.9440, while EUR/ILS fell 0.38% to 4.2202.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.22% at 98.33.
