Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Banking sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were Isramco L (TA:ISRAp), which rose 6.17% or 3.9 points to trade at 67.1 at the close. Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) added 2.47% or 3.5 points to end at 145.0 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TA:ICL) was up 2.43% or 37 points to 1560 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cellcom (TA:CEL), which lost 0.68% or 26 points to trade at 3799 in late trade. International (TA:FTIN) declined 0.60% or 36 points to end at 5985 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) shed 0.29% or 18 points to 6200.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 278 to 135 and 30 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.41% or 0.21 to $51.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.55% or 0.30 to hit $54.47 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.71% or 8.90 to trade at $1249.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.00% to 3.6511, while EUR/ILS fell 0.11% to 3.8930.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 100.51.
