Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 35 were OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which rose 4.00% or 106 points to trade at 2756 at the close. Sodastream International Ltd (TA:SODA) added 3.80% or 730.0 points to end at 19930.0 and Bazan Oil Refineries Ltd (TA:ORL) was up 2.44% or 3.5 points to 146.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Partner (TA:PTNR), which lost 3.05% or 60 points to trade at 1910 in late trade. Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TA:ALHE) declined 2.67% or 93 points to end at 3387 and Israel Corp (TA:ILCO) shed 1.67% or 1090 points to 64160.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 202 to 196 and 44 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.02% or 0.01 to $50.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.11% or 0.06 to hit $52.99 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.05% or 0.60 to trade at $1284.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.02% to 3.6679, while EUR/ILS rose 0.42% to 3.9484.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.31% at 99.40.
