Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Technology, Banking and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 1.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Frutarom (TA:FRUT), which rose 3.62% or 500 points to trade at 14300 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 3.53% or 198 points to end at 5805 and Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT) was up 3.34% or 930 points to 28750 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Migdal Insurance (TA:MGDL), which lost 0.99% or 5.0 points to trade at 500.0 in late trade. Avner L (TA:AVNRp) declined 0.51% or 1.4 points to end at 270.5 and Strauss Group (TA:STRS) shed 0.51% or 32 points to 6242.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 189 to 134 and 134 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 5.69% or 2.92 to $48.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 5.07% or 3.00 to hit $56.19 a barrel, while the April Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1200.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.21% to 3.9668, while EUR/ILS rose 0.27% to 4.3200.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.07% at 97.61.
