Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Communication, Technology and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 1.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 3.28% or 21.9 points to trade at 689.9 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 2.32% or 340 points to end at 15000 and Osem (TA:OSEM) was up 2.31% or 188 points to 8339 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Perrigo (TA:PRGO), which lost 1.04% or 750 points to trade at 71300 in late trade. Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) declined 0.48% or 23 points to end at 4769 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) shed 0.12% or 0.1 points to 82.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 207 to 120 and 127 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.74% or 1.06 to $59.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.17% or 1.40 to hit $62.87 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1199.90 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.08% to 3.8282, while EUR/ILS fell 0.04% to 4.3456.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.11% at 94.31.
