Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 1.02% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which rose 3.61% or 182 points to trade at 5230 at the close. Teva (TA:TEVA) added 2.92% or 730 points to end at 25770 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) was up 2.91% or 450 points to 15900 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Melisron (TA:MLSR), which lost 1.88% or 310 points to trade at 16170 in late trade. International (TA:FTIN) declined 1.07% or 60 points to end at 5554 and Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) shed 0.82% or 6.0 points to 725.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 236 to 97 and 124 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 1.16% or 0.60 to $51.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.59% or 0.34 to hit $57.77 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.75% or 9.10 to trade at $1209.50 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.26% to 3.9339, while EUR/ILS fell 0.41% to 4.2683.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.68% at 97.87.
