Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.36%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Bezeq (TA:BEZQ), which rose 2.43% or 16.0 points to trade at 675.0 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN) added 2.38% or 189.00 points to end at 8137.00 and Migdal Insurance (TA:MGDL) was up 2.05% or 9.5 points to 472.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which lost 1.49% or 250 points to trade at 16500 in late trade. Nice (TA:NICE) declined 1.37% or 340 points to end at 24400 and Frutarom (TA:FRUT) shed 1.25% or 190 points to 15070.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 235 to 134 and 86 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.93% or 0.56 to $59.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.09% or 0.71 to hit $64.84 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.92% or 10.90 to trade at $1200.70 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.06% to 3.8699, while EUR/ILS fell 0.78% to 4.2171.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.73% at 97.64.
