Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TA:KEN), which rose 5.74% or 461.00 points to trade at 8494.00 at the close. Strauss Group (TA:STRS) added 2.70% or 170 points to end at 6464 and Osem (TA:OSEM) was up 2.56% or 203 points to 8145 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Elbit Systems (TA:ESLT), which lost 1.95% or 630 points to trade at 31750 in late trade. Perrigo (TA:PRGO) declined 1.67% or 1300 points to end at 76730 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 1.15% or 19 points to 1640.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 205 to 149 and 103 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.47% or 0.27 to $57.61 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.91% or 0.57 to hit $62.88 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.29% or 3.50 to trade at $1197.20 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.20% to 3.9494, while EUR/ILS rose 0.24% to 4.2425.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 98.12.
