Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Communication, Insurance and Biomed sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 gained 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which rose 2.29% or 1740 points to trade at 77800 at the close. Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) added 1.58% or 12.1 points to end at 780.1 and Mizrahi Tefahot (TA:MZTF) was up 0.96% or 43 points to 4526 in late trade.
Biggest losers included OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK), which lost 1.34% or 50 points to trade at 3681 in late trade. Gazit Globe (TA:GZT) declined 1.14% or 40 points to end at 3477 and Poalim (TA:POLI) shed 1.08% or 21 points to 1919.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 202 to 129 and 108 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.33% or 0.16 to $48.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.40% or 0.20 to hit $50.15 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.05% or 14.05 to trade at $1353.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.09% to 3.8523, while EUR/ILS rose 0.40% to 4.2899.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 95.65.
