Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Strauss Group (TA:STRS), which rose 1.71% or 101 points to trade at 6007 at the close. Ormat Technologies (TA:ORA) added 1.15% or 230 points to end at 20200 and Nice Ltd (TA:NICE) was up 1.09% or 280 points to 26020 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Delek Group (TA:DLEKG), which lost 0.94% or 770 points to trade at 80740 in late trade. Discount (TA:DSCT) declined 0.77% or 6.1 points to end at 787.9 and Delek Drilling LP (TA:DEDRp) shed 0.70% or 10 points to 1418.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 208 to 141 and 95 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.53% or 0.28 to $53.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $55.90 a barrel, while the February Gold contract unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to trade at $1135.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.11% to 3.8182, while EUR/ILS fell 0.12% to 3.9913.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 102.95.
