Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 5.31% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 3.37% or 8.3 points to trade at 254.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.02% or 1.4 points to end at 138.5 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 0.22% or 0.08 points to 36.95 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which lost 14.97% or 41.8 points to trade at 237.5 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 4.26% or 13.8 points to end at 310.2 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 2.21% or 4.7 points to 207.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 87 to 49 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.19% or 0.59 to $49.13 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.15% or 0.58 to hit $49.89 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1271.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.44% to 6.7967, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4390.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 98.64.
