Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 3.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 0.89% or 3.1 points to trade at 345.1 at the close. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) fell 1.09% or 2.6 points to end at 236.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was down 1.70% or 7.2 points to 417.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 6.89% or 65.5 points to trade at 884.5 in late trade. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) declined 6.55% or 18.0 points to end at 257.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 6.51% or 16.7 points to 240.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 144 to 14 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.77% or 2.39 to $47.72 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 4.79% or 2.44 to hit $48.47 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 4.49% or 56.75 to trade at $1319.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 2.24% to 6.6844, while EUR/DKK fell 0.12% to 7.4348.
The US Dollar Index was up 2.36% at 95.53.
