Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Financials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.72% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb), which rose 1.63% or 10.0 points to trade at 624.0 at the close. Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) added 0.93% or 2.9 points to end at 316.0 and Genmab (COP:GEN) was up 0.56% or 3.0 points to 534.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included COLOPLAST B (COP:COLOb), which lost 3.11% or 17.0 points to trade at 529.0 in late trade. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) declined 2.91% or 11.1 points to end at 370.6 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) shed 2.69% or 2.30 points to 83.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 65 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.31% or 1.95 to $60.88 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.49% or 1.66 to hit $68.11 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.67% or 7.90 to trade at $1194.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.39% to 6.6711, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4637.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 95.21.
