Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.89% or 4.5 points to trade at 509.5 at the close. TDC A/S (CO:TDC) fell 0.33% or 0.11 points to end at 33.35 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.34% or 1.1 points to 322.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 6.50% or 29.0 points to trade at 416.9 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.78% or 410 points to end at 8165 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 4.27% or 380 points to 8510.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 117 to 32 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 4.49% or 2.20 to $46.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.27% or 2.14 to hit $47.96 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.25% or 16.75 to trade at $1355.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.55% to 6.7076, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4404.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.49% at 96.08.
