Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Software & Computer Services and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb), which rose 0.52% or 1.7 points to trade at 329.9 at the close. Genmab (COP:GEN) added 0.43% or 2.5 points to end at 585.5 and William Demant Holding (COP:WDH) was up 0.40% or 2.0 points to 503.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK), which lost 2.58% or 8.6 points to trade at 324.3 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) declined 2.49% or 8.0 points to end at 312.9 and Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) shed 2.05% or 7.0 points to 333.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 48 and 5 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 2.21% or 1.17 to $51.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.39% or 0.80 to hit $56.37 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.14% or 13.30 to trade at $1153.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.98% to 6.8158, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4628.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.81% at 97.22.
