Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.04% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 3.69% or 9.9 points to trade at 278.4 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 2.38% or 7.1 points to end at 305.9 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.91% or 1.35 points to 72.15 in late trade.
Biggest losers included William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH), which lost 4.11% or 5.1 points to trade at 118.9 in late trade. DSV (CO:DSV) declined 3.81% or 11.5 points to end at 290.5 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 2.97% or 11.3 points to 369.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 73 to 71 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.30% or 0.59 to $44.68 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.10% or 0.51 to hit $45.85 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.48% or 6.05 to trade at $1267.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.8352, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4416.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.14% at 98.80.
