Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.72%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 1.66% or 2.3 points to trade at 140.6 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) added 1.11% or 6.5 points to end at 592.0 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 0.91% or 1.1 points to 122.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 2.08% or 25.0 points to trade at 1175.0 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.68% or 170 points to end at 9950 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.61% or 170 points to 10420.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 3.24% or 1.67 to $53.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 3.15% or 1.71 to hit $56.04 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.44% or 5.15 to trade at $1167.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.73% to 6.9905, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4367.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.61% at 100.98.
